Background[edit | edit source]
"When you're done admiring my floor, and if you wouldn't mind not wasting my time, you could take a seat." ~ Abacus
Abacus is a female halfling and one of the founders of The City of Alivast. She wears a pair of large circular glasses and well-tailored clothes and keeps her pink hair cut short.
Abacus is both a high financial advisor of the city and member of the Council. Not much is known about Abacus' background beyond the fact she helped found the city of Alivast and that she wields fairly high-level arcane magic.
Eventually, after their Tribunal, Abacus decided to sell the contract of the Unexpectables to Solliandris at a discount.
Personality[edit | edit source]
Abacus is a patient but often quite stressed-out woman who keeps things as clear as possible so that she may go about her business. She has little patience for frivolity and is all too willing to stop it as quickly as possible with magic. She does care about her friends, often sending people to check on them if they seem to be in trouble.
She is embarrassed about her birthday, and does not like anyone attempting to celebrate it even a little bit.
Relationships[edit | edit source]
John Fleetfinger[edit | edit source]
John Fleetfinger is a male halfling farmer and Abacus' uncle.
Abacus is one of the primary employers of the group. She finds them irritating to deal with but effective so she tolerates them. However, her patience has limits and she is quite willing to cast high-level magic to get them to shut up and leave her office.
After the Tribunal, Abacus would sell off the contract of the Unexpectables to Solliandris at a discount. Abacus ruefully admitted that she had not used the Unexpectables to their full potential and hoped that Solliandris would.
Payton Black is a simple human friend of hers. When they met or how they formed their friendship is unknown.
Abacus has a courteous and professional relationship with the captain of the city guard.
Airivine is one of Abacus' employees and works at mapping the surrounding lands for the city.
In one encounter with Balfor Balton, he did something to her that warranted her polymorphing him into a rabbit.
